Ingredients:
- 4 slices of rye bread
- 8 slices of corned beef
- 8 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup sauerkraut
- 1/4 cup Russian dressing
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C
On a baking sheet, put the four rye bread slices
Put two slices of corned beef, two slices of Swiss cheese, and a bit of sauerkraut on top of each slice
On the other four slices of rye bread, spread Russian dressing
Then, put them on top of the meal
Put the butter in a small saucepan and melt it over low heat
Onion powder, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper should all be mixed in to make the butter sauce
Use the ready-made butter sauce to cover the tops of the sandwiches
Put the sandwiches in an oven that has already been heated for about 15 minutes, or until they are toasted and the cheese melts
