Ingredients:
- 1 block firm tofu, pressed and drained
- 2 tablespoons tamari
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions:
Slice or chop the tofu into cubes
Combine the tamari, maple syrup, sesame oil, olive oil, ginger, and garlic in a small bowl
A nonstick skillet should be heated to medium-high heat
Pour the tamari mixture over the tofu slices or cubes that have been added to the skillet
Cook until tofu is caramelized and golden brown, 5 to 7 minutes per side
To taste, add salt and pepper for seasoning
Before serving, garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds
