Ingredients:
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp erythritol or your preferred keto-friendly sweetener
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp xanthan gum optional, for thickening
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
Put beef slices in a bowl and mix in soy sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic
Let sit for at least 30 minutes
In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat
Cook the beef until it turns brown, about two to three minutes on each side
Take the beef out of the pan and set it aside
Put broccoli florets in the same pan and stir-fry for two to three minutes, until they become slightly soft
Put the broccoli back in the pan with the cooked beef
Put in the erythritol and beef broth
Mix well
You can make the sauce thicker by adding xanthan gum to the mix if you want to
Add two to three more minutes of cooking and keep going until the sauce gets thick
Add pepper and salt to taste
Add sesame seeds as a garnish before serving
